From 1990 to 2010, the most recent year of data in the project, 52.1% of US serials killers were white, while 40.3% were black. The numbers don't change much internationally either. Worldwide, 56.2% are white, while 30% are black.

The advantage of using Actual Cost vs Average cost is that Average cost will just use an average of previously posted transactions instead of a specific cost related to the Lot or Serial number (see the Average Cost Method article).
Microsoft defines Excel SUBTOTAL as the function that returns a subtotal in a list or database. In this context, "subtotal" is not just totaling numbers in a defined range of cells. Unlike other Excel functions that are designed to do only one specific thing, SUBTOTAL is amazingly versatile - it can perform different arithmetic and logical operations such as counting cells, calculating average, finding the minimum or maximum value, and more.

For those wondering what the heck a serial number is I will try my best to explain. A serial number represents the number of days, hours, minutes, seconds from 1900 in Windows Excel. So day 1 in a 1900 based date system is 1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM.
On December 17, 1935, the Board approved the 9-digit option (McKinley and Frase 1970, 323). The Board planned to use the year one attained age 65 as part of the SSN, thinking that once an individual attained age 65, the SSN would be reassigned to someone else. But at a meeting on January 23, 1936, the unemployment compensation delegates objected to the use of digits to signify age because they thought a number of workers would falsify their age. As a result, a new scheme adopted by the Board on February 14 consisted of a 3-digit area code, a 2-digit month of birth, and a 4-digit serial number.
From the beginning, the process of assigning SSNs included quality checks. SSA employees had to account for every number and explain any missing serial numbers fully. Also, the SS-5s and the OA-702s were coded separately by different clerks and were later compared as a quality check (Fay and Wasserman 1938, 24).
The Schwinn Le Tour was made in several different plants and countries during its long run. The first few years they are all made by Panasonic in Japan. Globally, a number of studies were conducted to estimate the average serial interval and incubation period of COVID-19. Combining findings of existing studies that estimate the average serial interval and incubation period of COVID-19 significantly improves the quality of evidence. Hence, this study aimed to determine the overall average serial interval and incubation period of COVID-19.
Conclusions: This systematic review and meta-analysis showed that the weighted pooled mean serial interval and incubation period of COVID-19 were 5.2, and 6.5 days, respectively. In this study, the average serial interval of COVID-19 is shorter than the average incubation period, which suggests that substantial numbers of COVID-19 cases will be attributed to presymptomatic transmission.
I'm not successfully finding where current.serial_number or serial_number is set on a server CI. System serial number is being used to populate the serial number field on a server CI rather than Chassis. Is there a reason discovery prefers system serial number over chassis? I can think of reasons where you could get in trouble, but know that bios/uuid/chassis/system are all retured from the hardware info probe.
Where do I need to look to see where serial_number is set on a CI? Trying to reverse-engineer this to understand the functionality better and determine if we can flip the order (use chassis more prevently) and what sort of issues we'd run into by doing so.
Drew, you have to dig around the identification processing (sensors/Script includes) and I 'think' it happens in some java magic call named SncSerialNumber() .. I started asking around to be sure but in the mean time what I have done in the past is to create an exploration probe that sets serial number after the fact to the value you want.. Or you can probably do a after update BR that sets a different value on the class based on the lookup it would do..
On the WMI probe, it adds the SN values to an array (ComputerSystemProduct.IdentifyingNumber, UUID, BIOS, baseboard, and SystemEnclosure.SerialNumber, are referenced) which is used by the SerialNumberManager script include. I found another script include called SerialNumber. SerialNumberManager seems to me to be more related to the serial number table entry and values, and SerialNumber would actually set the CI.serial_number value. I'm not a programmer to be sure, and trying to follow through this logically and doing so for me is clumsy at best.
Ideally the SN on a Server CI would be the chassis number where possible, makes things easier for the infrastructure teams. Thats the Serial Number on the box from the vendor, on the asset tag sticket on the server, etc. Changing order here doesnt appear that it would be a huge impact in some cases since ALL serial numbers are returned on at least the WMI probe (all 3 can and are used during identification to find the existing CI, its just a matter of which one is being recorded on the CI. Linux would be a different story I would think, given its usually a specific SSH command to get SN - ex. : lsattr -El sys0 -a systemid awk 'print $2
....to the top of the WMI Windows - Identity probe (so its above the system and UUID serial) and ran discovery. its showing the Chassis serial on the CI now. on VMs chassis serial is recorded as (none) so its skipped (JSUtil.notNil). Its still recorded on the serial number table for use if needed, but since chassis is first in the probe list its skipped over until it gets to the VMWare- Serial Number to be recorded on the CI record.
EDIT: I'm noticing on the serial numbers record (on SN table and Server CI) that some of the serial numbers have trailing white space. like "USE741234 ". System SN seems to be the exception. System SN will be "USE741234" and bios and chassis will be "USE741234 ". Haven't looked into the code to see why though.
A function is a predefined formula that helps perform common mathematical functions. Functions save you the time of writing lengthy formulas. You could use an Excel function called Average, for example, to quickly find the average of range of numbers. Or you could use the Sum function to find the sum of a cell range. Excel XP contains many different functions.
Commencing January 1, 2019, a new resident to the state shall apply to the Department of Justice (Department) for a unique serial number within 60 days of arrival for any firearm the resident wishes to possess in the state that the resident previously self-manufactured or self-assembled or a firearm the resident owns, that does not have a unique serial number or other mark of identification.
Please note: You will be required to upload your California driver license or identification card along with applicable documentation to complete your Unique Serial Number Application in CFARS to request unique serial number(s) (Cal. Code Reg., tit. 11, 4045.1).
The initial fee for submitting an application for a unique serial number is $35. This fee will cover the $20 cost for the firearms eligibility check conducted by the Department and the request for one unique serial number for one firearm through CFARS. If you have multiple self-manufactured or self-assembled firearms, or if you intend to manufacture or assemble multiple firearms, you may request multiple unique serial numbers during the same transaction. The fee for each subsequent unique serial number within the same transaction is $15. There is no limit to the number of unique serial numbers that an applicant may request within a single application and corresponding transaction.
Once the completed application is submitted and received, the Department will notify you via electronic notification in CFARS and/or U.S. mail whether you are eligible or ineligible to receive a unique serial number. If you are approved, you must engrave the assigned serial number on the firearm within the associated timeframe (new CA residents who previously manufactured/assembled or anyone who intends to) and are required to upload images through CFARS.
